Anemic syndrome in children: through the prism of pediatric and hematological problems

Abstract

The article presents a diagnostic algorithm for anemic syndrome in children with differential diagnosis. The nature, risk factors, features of the clinical picture of anemia in children of different ages, the volume of additional laboratory and instrumental methods of research are characterized in detail. The clinical cases illustrating practical aspects in diagnostics, differential diagnostics of deficient, hemolytic anemias, acute leukemia are given. Particular attention is paid to the genesis and features of anemia diagnosis in children with chronic gastrointestinal diseases. Generalized data on the sequence of diagnostic measures of the primary care physician in the case of anemic syndrome in the child.
The research was carried out in accordance with the principles of the Helsinki Declaration. The study protocol was approved by the Local Ethics Committee of an participating institution. The informed consent of the patient was obtained for conducting the studies.
